In 2020, we published a list of local food pantries where residents could receive free food as need grew during the pandemic. We updated that list in 2024 as the problem persisted in our community.
Now, in 2026, with SNAP cuts adding new strain on top of ongoing food insecurity, we’ve updated the list once more. This version includes food pantries and distribution sites where Cicero and Berwyn residents can access free food, without limiting the search to the 60804 and 60402 ZIP codes.
